How do I add a refill / place a new order for my next month's prescription?
If you have an active subscription, you do not need to manually request a refill or place a new order each month. Your subscription will automatically process approximately every 28 days.
What Happens When your Next Subscription is Due
- Your payment will be processed (if applicable).
- If a new prescription is required, you’ll receive a notification to complete a new intake.
- After completing the intake, your information will be sent to your healthcare provider for review (typically within 24 hours).
- In some cases, a telehealth video call may be required before renewal. Please check for any messages or requests from your provider.
- After approval, your prescription will be forwarded to the pharmacy for shipment.

Patients in Canada
If you need to request a refill early or restart a subscription, you can do so directly through your patient portal:
- Visit https://caportal.direct-meds.com/user
- Enter your account email and password
- Click “Sign In” to access your account dashboard
- Select “Add Refill”
- Complete the intake form to request a new prescription
