Why was I denied a prescription?
If your prescription was denied through Direct Meds, it’s typically for one of two reasons:
Technical Issues
These are usually related to documentation or administrative problems. Common examples include missing or incomplete forms, expired or blurry ID or medical documents, or issues with payment processing. These can often be quickly resolved by submitting the correct or updated information.
Medical Decision by the Provider
In some cases, a licensed medical provider may determine that the prescription isn’t appropriate for you based on your health history, current medications, or other clinical factors. This decision is made to ensure your safety and is at the sole discretion of the provider.
