Why was my prescription denied?
A prescription may be denied for different reasons. These generally fall into two categories:
1. Technical or Administrative Issues
Examples may include:
- Missing or incomplete intake forms
- Issues with uploaded identification or documentation
- Problems with payment processing
These situations can often be resolved by providing updated or corrected information. If you receive a request for additional details, please follow the instructions provided in your patient portal or contact Customer Service for assistance.
2. Provider Decision
A licensed healthcare provider reviews each patient’s medical information and determines whether a prescription is clinically appropriate.
A provider may decide not to issue a prescription based on their medical judgment and an assessment of your health history, current medications, or other relevant factors.
These decisions are made independently by the provider and are based on their professional assessment of what is appropriate for your individual health needs.
