Where Should I Inject BPC-157?

Where Should I Inject BPC-157?

Inject Near the Target Area

BPC-157 is injected subcutaneously near the injury site or the area you are targeting. The approved injection sites are:

  • Back of the arm (tricep area)
  • Lateral (side) of the thigh
  • Abdomen

Injecting close to the target area concentrates BPC-157's local angiogenic and repair effects at the site of injury or inflammation, which is why site selection matters more with BPC-157 than with most other peptides.

Site Guidance by Indication

Musculoskeletal conditions (tendon, ligament, joint, muscle) Inject subcutaneously proximal to (near, but not directly into) the affected area. Your care team will recommend the specific site based on your injury location.

Gastrointestinal conditions (gut health, IBD, leaky gut) The abdomen or thigh are appropriate. Systemic delivery is effective for gut mucosal healing — local proximity to the GI tract is not required.

What to Avoid

  • Do not inject directly into a tendon, ligament, or joint
  • Do not inject into an area that is actively infected or broken down
  • If you are unsure which site to use, contact your care team before your first injection
