Should I be concerned if the ice melts in my injectable Semaglutide package?

Not necessarily. While it’s best practice to keep your medication refrigerated, there’s no need to worry if the ice pack in your package has melted during transit.


If your medication is still sealed in its original factory packaging, it can safely remain at room temperature (between 68°–80°F) for up to 21 days. This is normal and expected for many shipments. However, once the seal on your medication has been opened or pierced—and it’s been exposed to air—it must be stored in the refrigerator at 36°–46°F to maintain its stability.
