Should I be concerned if the ice melts in my injectable Semaglutide package?

Should I be concerned if the ice melts in my injectable Semaglutide package?

Refrigeration is best practice

Always store your compounded Semaglutide in the refrigerator (36°–46°F) whenever possible.

Factory-Sealed Medication

If your vial arrives with the seal still intact, it can remain at room temperature (68°–80°F) for up to 21 days, including time spent in shipping or brief periods outside the refrigerator.

Opened or Pierced Medication

Once the vial’s seal has been opened or pierced, it must be placed in the refrigerator right away to maintain proper storage conditions.

Melted Ice Pack

It is common for ice packs to melt during transit. If the vial is sealed, simply refrigerate your medication as soon as you receive the package.
Info
Key Point: Room-temperature stability is a temporary allowance, not a replacement for proper refrigeration.
