How does Direct Meds work?
Direct Meds connects patients with licensed healthcare providers who can evaluate whether a prescription medication—such as semaglutide or tirzepatide—is appropriate for their individual health needs. All prescriptions are issued solely at the discretion of a licensed provider.
1. Complete an eligibility questionnaire
You can begin by selecting “Do I Qualify?” on our website. This brief questionnaire helps determine whether you may be a good candidate to proceed to a clinical intake. Completing the questionnaire does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.
After finishing the questionnaire, you can choose your preferred payment option and subscription length.
Your pricing includes:
- the provider’s review of your intake
- medication (if prescribed)
- supplies
- shipping
2. Complete your intake form
After choosing a program, you’ll complete a secure medical intake form. This information is reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider who determines whether a prescription is clinically appropriate for you.
In some cases, the provider may request a short video consultation before making a prescribing decision.
Prescription review times vary, but many are completed within 24 hours.
3. Provider decision & pharmacy fulfillment
If the provider determines that a prescription is appropriate, the order will be sent to one of our partner pharmacies for dispensing and shipment. Pharmacies typically ship orders within 2–3 business days, Monday through Thursday.
If the provider determines that a prescription is not appropriate, you will not be charged for medication.
