Preparing Your Injection

Gather your supplies Each MOTS-C shipment includes everything needed for your protocol:

  • The MOTS-C peptide (pre-mixed injectable solution)
  • Needles (31-gauge insulin syringes)
  • Alcohol swabs
  • An informational pamphlet

Drawing your dose Using a 31-gauge insulin syringe, draw 20 units from the pre-mixed vial. No mixing or reconstitution is needed.

Choosing Your Injection Site

Inject into the abdomen. Rotate the exact spot slightly with each injection to avoid irritating the same area repeatedly.

Performing the Injection

  1. Wash hands thoroughly
  2. Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab; allow to dry
  3. Pinch the skin to create a small fold
  4. Insert the needle at approximately a 45-degree angle
  5. Draw back slightly to confirm you are not in a blood vessel
  6. Inject slowly and steadily
  7. Withdraw and apply gentle pressure; do not rub
  8. Dispose of the used needle in a sharps container
