Patients who are prescribed intranasal NAD+ are instructed to spray once into each nostril, once daily.
Before administering the medication:
Gently blow your nose if needed.
Keep your head upright or slightly tilted forward.
Insert the applicator just inside the nostril.
Spray the prescribed amount while gently breathing in through your nose.
Avoid inhaling forcefully, as this may cause more of the medication to drain into the back of your throat.
If you feel unwell or used significantly more medication than prescribed, go to the nearest emergency department for evaluation or contact Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 for immediate guidance.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. They are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies under medical supervision and may differ in formulation, dosing, and supporting evidence from FDA-approved products.
