Direct Meds follows a variety of regulatory, licensing, and compliance practices designed to support safe and lawful telehealth services:
Licensed Providers
All healthcare providers in our network hold the appropriate licenses to evaluate patients and prescribe medications in the states or provinces where they practice. Prescribing decisions are made independently by licensed clinicians based on each patient’s medical information.
Pharmacy Partners
Medications, when prescribed, are dispensed through U.S.-based 503A compounding pharmacies or other licensed pharmacies as appropriate. These pharmacies follow applicable federal and state compounding and dispensing standards.
Clinical Oversight
Direct Meds maintains internal quality and compliance processes, including oversight from a medical director who reviews our provider and pharmacy networks for alignment with applicable regulations and clinical standards.
LegitScript Certification
Direct Meds is LegitScript certified, meaning our telemedicine operations have been reviewed for compliance with LegitScript’s standards for transparency, regulatory alignment, and risk controls. This certification applies to our business practices, software systems, and the overall structure of our provider and pharmacy network.
